RADICAL PUBLISHING PREVIEWS 2010 ON FCBD

Radical Publishing will preview four of its 2010 titles with its offering for Free Comic Book Day, editor-in-chief David Wohl told The Continuum.

During The Continuum's visit to Radical's offices in Los Angeles on Friday, Wohl explained that the issue will include four eight-page stories.

Wohl provided a complete rundown on the four stories and announced Leonardo Manco as the artist for one of them.

SMALLVILLE: "ABSOLUTE JUSTICE"

The CW has released a description from "Absolute Justice," the two-hour episode of Smallville guest-starring the Justice Society and airing on Friday, Feb. 4.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"A man named Sylvester Pemberton tracks down Chloe (Allison Mack) and tells her he knows about her team of superheroes and needs their help. However, before he can explain who he is, he is attacked and killed by Icicle (guest star Wesley Macinnes).

"Clark (Tom Welling) and Chloe's (Allison Mack) investigation leads Clark to the former headquarters of the Justice Society of America, where he meets up with Nelson AKA Dr. Fate (guest star Brent Stait), Carter Hall AKA Hawkman (guest star Michael Shanks) and Courtney AKA Star Girl (guest star Britt Irvin). Courtney pleads with Hawkman and Dr. Fate to help her catch the killer that is targeting their group but they are reluctant to resume their duties as superheroes.

"Clark, John Jones (guest star Phil Morris), Green Arrow (Justin Hartley) and Chloe team up to help the JSA stop Icicle before he murders another member of the group.

"Meanwhile, Lois (Erica Durance) receives a package from a mysterious agency called Checkmate, run by Amanda Waller (guest star Pam Grier)."

Geoff Johns wrote the two-hour episode. Glen Winters directed the first hour and Tom Welling directed the second hour.

HUMAN TARGET: CHI MCBRIDE

The Continuum continues a series of interviews with the cast of Fox's Human Target with Chi McBride

McBride talks about his character, Winston, whom he calls "the face of the organization."

"He's a guy who is very pragmatic," he said.

LEGION: TYRESE GIBSON

The Continuum continues Kate Jewell's interviews with the talent of Legion last weekend at the Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention with Tyrese Gibson, who plays Kyle Williams.

Gibson talks about how he tried the make his character the voice of reason and that of the audience in the film.

MATT HAWKINS TALKS ALIBI MOVIE

Top Cow Productions' Matt Hawkins said that Alibi, the former Pilot Season comic he co-created, updated Kate Jewell with the film adaptation's progress during The Continuum's visit to the Top Cow offices in Los Angeles earlier this week.

HEROES: "PASS/FAIL"

NBC has released 10 images from "Pass/Fail," the Monday, Jan. 18 episode of Heroes.

Here's how NBC describes the episode:

"Hiro's (Masi Oka) life hangs in the balance as his brain tumor worsens, prompting him to subconsciously deal with some of his past decisions.

"Meanwhile, Sylar (Zachary Quinto) pays Claire (Hayden Panettiere) an unexpected visit to get answers as to why he isn't quite himself. Elsewhere, Samuel;s (Robert Knepper) plan to impress his long-lost love, Vanessa (guest star Kate Vernon), takes a terrifying turn."
