BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER SEASON OPENER

The Continuum has obtained the first two episodic images from UPN's second season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

The season begins with the episode "Lessons," which will air on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).

In the image above, a remorseful Willow (Alyson Hannigan) turns to Giles (Anthony Stewart Head) for guidance as she seeks to control the magickal forces that consume her.

To the left is series star Sarah Michelle Gellar from the episode.

UPN should be announcing its official logline for "Lessons" soon, perhaps as early as this week.

X-MEN: EVOLUTION UPDATE

The third season of Kids' WB!'s X-Men: Evolution will begin on Saturday, Sept. 14, the network has confirmed for The Continuum.

The date will serve as the official launch of Kids' WB!'s new season. Time periods are expected to be announced sometime next week.

Static Shock will not be part of the fall line-up as the show's third season went into production too late to make a September start. New episodes will likely begin in either November or January.
